Nadal amongst world’s most famous athletes

Rafael Nadal is 10th in ESPN’s ranking about the 100 most popular athletes in the world, built using an algorithm to combine earnings, followers on social media and Google searches.

The top 10 on that ranking features only two NBA players in LeBron James and Kevin Durant, leaving reigning Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry out.

Cristiano Ronaldo is number one amongst the athletes in the ranking.
