A 30 year old man Kwabena popularly known as Cowbell died during his wedding ceremony on Saturday 15/06/2019 at Juaso in a suburb of Assin Fosu in the Assin Fosu municipal of the Central Region.
According to the information gathered, ”cowbell’’ and his wife to be, after exchanging of rings at the ceremony, they were ask to dance towards the collection of the gifts. All of a sudden, the man fell down and went into comma (collapsed)so he was quickly rushed to St. Francis Xavier Hospital at Assin Fosu but was pronounced dead after some few hours
Strange things happened before the marriage ceremony. According to a relative of the couple, on the day of the wedding, snake appeared in the house of the bride when they were preparing for the ceremony. After that two children collapsed when the engagement ceremony was ongoing.
According to the doctor, cowbell didn’t have enough blood so he asked the family to get him blood of which they refused to bring it on time. So, he died as a result of inadequate blood. However, some of the community members believe that it is a spiritual issue.
