Report coming out from sources have stated that 5 people suspected to be part of the gruesome murder of the Army Captain, Maxwell Adam Mahama in Denkyira-Boase have been arrested and moved from Diaso to the regional headquarters for further probing.
Initially, 60 people were screened by the police operation and upon thorough investigations it was established that 5 of them allegedly took part in the scandalous act.
As a result, most residents of the town have fled for fear of being probed or detained.
Speaking to the Central region police PRO, ASP. Irene Oppong on pink Fm morning show Omanbapa kasa, She mentioned that a high-powered fact-finding team is proceeding to the scene of the incident to ascertain the facts of the case.
She also added that they are hoping to get hold of more suspects from now to tomorrow and bring forth any further update.
She however urged the public that anyone who has any form of information concerning the gruesome death of the captain should present it to the Ghana police service to aid in their investigation.
Speaking to the P.R.O of the Ghana Armed Forces, Colonel Aggrey Quarshie about the issue, he also added that the joint operation team has apprehended the 5 suspects for investigation.
