KASOA POLICE REJECTS A POLICE POST BUILT BY THE LANDLORD ASS. OF DATUS ELECTORAL AREA.

The Ghana Police Service stationed at Kasoa, has rejected a Police post built by the Landlord Ass. of Kasoa Datus electoral area.

Kasoa is a fast growing town found in Awutu Senya East Municipal District of the Central region of Ghana. Kasoa  has recorded several crime activities which  has tainted the image of the town. As a result, the place has become a very scary place to live in.

To continue, the murder of the 11 year old boy is one unfortunate incident which occurred in Kasoa. This and other criminal activities has made living in Kasoa to be scary one.

Furthermore, all these unfortunate happenings is partly due to the limited number of  security facilities in the town. The Landlords of Kasoa Datus Electoral Area took upon themselves to build a police facility in the area. This initiative has been achieved but almost a year now, the police are refusing to utilise the place.

This is due to some demands made by the Police for the assembly to provide some additional facilities to the structure. The police are requesting for a Crime Officer’s office, a store room for bomb, gun and other apparatus used by the Police men.

The Assembly employed several efforts to ensure the presence of the Police at the facility but all has been futile. The Assembly has even gone to the extent of proposing an information centre for the office of the Crime Officer.

In an interview on Pink Fm

In an interview with Honourable Emmanuel Ansong” an assembly member of Kasoa” on the Omanbapa Kasa show hosted by Kusi Damoah on Pink Fm, he recounted the same event. Proving that he has also engaged the Assembly man of the area and the Commander of Police in Kasoa.
