I wish I am still married to my ex-wife’ – Trigmatic says after divorce

Ghanaian rapper Trigmatic has shared his thoughts on the difficulties he faced during his divorce from ex-wife Dita Oduro-Agyei, describing the experience as tough yet ultimately enlightening.

Ghanaian rapper Trigmatic has shared how his separation from his ex-wife has affected him.

In a recent interview, Trigmatic shared his profound remorse about the conclusion of his marriage, calling it a challenging experience that ultimately deepened his connection with God.

I’ve gone through quite a learning experience. I’ve gained so much knowledge, and I believe it’s something nobody should have to endure. It was difficult for me, but I’m grateful to have had God by my side. Often, we overlook our relationship with Him until we encounter hardships, he remarked.

The rapper shared his thoughts on the importance of family, acknowledging his own failings in the relationship. “I had my imperfections, but it could have been better. I wish I were still married to her because she is an amazing person,” he remarked. Although they are no longer together, Trigmatic expressed appreciation for their child, describing his marriage as “one of the greatest gifts I have given my kids.”

When questioned about reconciliation, he acknowledged that it hadn’t occurred to him, but he emphasized the beauty of marriage. “Marriage is wonderful, as it brings with it many gifts,” he said.

In 2017, Trigmatic wed his longtime partner, Dita Oduro-Agyei, in an intimate ceremony. Earlier this year, he disclosed that they had been separated for three years, a choice they had chosen to keep private until now.

In an interview on D-Black’s Unkut show, the musician disclosed, “I am divorced. Many people aren’t aware of this, as I don’t often discuss it. It’s been three years now.” Trigmatic explained that the decision to divorce was mutually reached and rejected any implications that his career played a role in the separation. He noted that the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to spend more time together, which ultimately highlighted their irreconcilable differences. “No, I believe COVID made us enjoy being at home more, and it was quite peaceful,” he added.
