Ghanaian artist Kwabena Kwabena has recently shared his thoughts on a difficult chapter in his life, likening it to the challenges faced by fellow performer Funny Face.
Kwabena disclosed that his personal experience with divorce pushed him to the edge, much like the well-known struggles faced by Funny Face.
He confessed, “Ending my marriage was extremely challenging. I must admit, I was not far off from what my brother, Funny Face, experienced.”
The artist revealed that the emotional toll he experienced after initiating a divorce was significant, which is why he strongly empathizes with Funny Face’s challenges.
He noted that he often finds himself in tears when he sees Funny Face, saying, “I cry because it could have been me. So let us keep our brother in our prayers.”
Kwabena also talked about his latest track, “Fakye Me,” a song he penned during his most challenging moments, featuring gospel artist Obaapa Christy.
