I enjoy the risk of being an artiste – Deborah Vanessa

TV personality and musician, Sister Deborah is celebrating her decision to return to her home country, Ghana to start working for herself as an artist after studying and working in the UK for over two years.

The ‘Uncle Obama Banana’ singer born Deborah Vanessa doubted she would be happy if she was working for someone else in a foreign land.

On Wednesday, she took to her Instagram page to announce to the world and her followers how happy she is working for herself and how she even enjoys the “risk of being an artist.”

“In January 2010, I came to Ghana on the last Ghana Airways flight leaving the UK behind me. After living (studying & working) in London for 2+ years, the snowstorm in the winter of 2009 – early 2010 gave me the vim to move back home and live my dream of being an artist. I had to make that change else I doubt I would’ve ended up happy working for someone else in a foreign land. Now, working for myself, I enjoy all the freedoms and even the risks of being an artist. ?#?MOVE,” she said on Instagram when she shared her latest hot photo.
