Caution: Disturbing Photos!!! Kasoa NDC Secretary Brutalised by NPP Thugs

The NDC constituency secretary for Kasoa, Amadu Tuariq, has been brutalised by some persons believed to be thugs of Hawa Koomson, the MP for Kasoa who is also a cabinet minister.

According to the victim, the Minister for Special Development Initiatives, Hawa Koomson, approached him, some other party members and a former chairman of the constituency, Alhaji Habib, in the front of the chairman’s office on Thursday afternoon cautioning him, the victim, to refrain from attacking her on social media.

“We were sitting right in front of Chairman Habib’s office. Hawa Koomson showed up and asked Chairman to caution me to stop attacking her on social media since her last born is not even my class. I also told her to stop boasting since I would not even desire to be a member of her family” he explained.

According to Amadu Tuariq, a member of the men who were following the minister at the time questioned him on why he responded to her.

“Just when I was speaking one of his guys asked me why I was talking back at the MP, he gave m a slap and the other guys joined” he narrated.

Some onlookers have confirmed the chronology of events as offered by the secretary.

Attempts to reach the minister of special development initiatives, Hawa Koomson have proven futile as none of the phone calls placed to her personally were answered.

Amadu Tuariq who sustained some injuries was rushed to a health facility in Kasoa where he had his wounds were stitched.

Kasoa has been in the news in recent times for bad reasons in recent times.

During the voters registration exercise last year, a shooting incident occurred at the Steps to Christ registration center. The Kasoa MP, Hawa Koomson claimed responsibility of that act.

On polls day last year an unknown gunman in a Toyota V8 which crossed the convoy of the NDC parliamentary candidate, Naa Koryoo Okunor, shot at several members of her entourage and injured them.

Meanwhile, the parliamentary candidate for the Awutu Senya East NDC, Naa Koryoo, who was at the residence of Amadu Tuariq to show solidarity condemned the act and called on the police service to investigate thoroughly.

“You recall that shooting incident on elections day? We have confirmed that the guys who attacked Amadu Tuariq are same guys who attacked my convoy in their quest to eliminate me. I’d just want to urge the police not to let us down but to rather investigate thoroughly to bring the culprits to face the law” she stated.

She however expressed disappointment that “the police service do not take keen interest in investigating violent incidences of this nature” since she has even learnt of the “transfer of the docket of the shooting incident on elections day to Cape Coast, the regional capital without” her “knowledge”.
