General Officer Commanding Brigadier General, Amoah-Ayisi urges the Armed Forces to be dynamic in other to meet the evolving security needs of the nation.
The Brigadier was speaking on the sidelines of ‘A Land Combat Fire Power Demonstration at the Bundase training Camp.’ He said, “Threats are dynamic because human beings pose the threat. Therefore, your actions or stratagies must also be dynamic in other to meet security needs. Current terrorism and other forms of destabilization mean we have to adjust and introduce more sophistication in our approach to resolving such issues.”
The demosntration which involved the display of the Command Post, Fire Power of a Battle Group and other support elements of the Ghana Armed Forces took place on Friday, October 29, 2021.
Brigadier General Amoah-Ayisi also gave highlights on the essence of the activity to new recruits. “It also offers an opportunity for new recruits to get first-hand experience on how the Navy, the Army and the Airforce are employed in unison to defeat a common enemy. They also get to learn the various roles the individual forces play at each stage of each strategy,” he said.
The Land Combat Fire Power Demonstration is an annual exercise for students of the Ghana Armed Forces Comand and Staff College.
