Controversial entertainment critic Bongo Ideas has ignited a backlash on social media by alleging that Dr. Likee is responsible for the untimely death of his protégé, Bright Owusu, widely known as C Confion.
In a popular post on X (formerly Twitter), Bongo Ideas alleged that Dr. Likee deserted C Confion during a crucial moment.
He claimed that the senior skit creator did not provide C Confion with medication, declined to visit him while he was ill, and ignored any requests for assistance as his health worsened.
Bongo Ideas suggested that Dr. Likee had used C Confion as part of his sacrifice, a claim that has elicited a variety of responses from online users.
He further asserted that C Confion coughed up blood prior to his death, adding an emotional depth to his allegations.
These accusations have introduced a new layer of sorrow to the mourning over C Confion’s tragic passing, which took place while he was undergoing treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.”
Previous reports indicated that C Confion was struggling with a serious leg infection, though the precise cause of his death is still unknown.
Dr. Likee, who served as a mentor to C Confion and was instrumental in his rise to prominence, has not yet addressed the allegations.
