Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, has urged Ghanaians to reject NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2024 electionS.
Arguing that Mahama’s approach lacks an understanding of digitalization’s importance in economic growth.
Speaking to the youth on November 3, Bawumia contended that Mahama fails to grasp the link between digital advancements and economic progress, asserting that this shortfall contributed to Ghana’s past economic challenges.
Bawumia questioned Mahama’s emphasis on infrastructure, noting that while infrastructure is essential, digitalization is fundamental to the current administration’s approach to development.
He also expressed skepticism over Mahama’s proposed 24-Hour Economy Policy, dismissing it as unclear and impractical.
Bawumia concluded by calling himself a “brand new, tear-rubber president,” contrasting his candidacy with what he described as Mahama’s “second-hand” leadership.
