A.A.K NDC WARNS VETTING COMMITTEE OVER AGENDA TO DISQUALIFY THEIR FAVOURITE CANDIDATE

Abura Aseibu Kwamankese (A.A.K) executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have issued a strong warning to the regional vetting committee over alleged agenda to disqualify A.A.K’s favourite candidate in the upcoming parliamentary primaries.

In a press release signed by Theophius Amo and some party members, the A.A.K NDC executives stated that the regional vetting committee should desist from all manners of favouritism and nepotism.

According to the A.A.K NDC executives, the party lost almost all its seats to the opposition because of partiality on the side of some leaders.

They further established that the regional vetting committee should serve as referee to ensure fairness towards other candidates.

“We are in opposition and we thought the executives will do things to promote peace and tranquility but, the bias nature of some of our leaders is becoming appalling”, they stated.

The party executives are therefore warning the regional vetting committee to refrain from any decision that will eject their preferred candidate, Dr. Nana Ama Brown Klutse, from contesting the upcoming parliamentary primaries.

In the press release, they noted that if the regional vetting committee do not reconsider their decision then, they (Regional Executives) themselves would have to go and work at A.A.K to win back their seat in 2020.

In their final statement, the executives advocated for peace and discouraged practices that will prevent the party from winning the 2020 general elections.
