Solomon Nkansah, the National Communications Director of the NDC, has tickled the standard-bearer of the NPP, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo by saying that the three-time flagbearer for Ghana’s biggest opposition party travels abroad when he has a toothache.
The flagbearer who travelled to Paris, France in a meeting with party executives on Saturday, May,28, said that whilst some neighboring countries have made giant strides in the last five years, Ghana, within the same time frame, and under the leadership of President Mahama, is going backwards.
On education, Nana Addo also referred to the NDC 2012 manifesto, which promised “200 new Community Day Senior High Schools across the country” by the end of 2016.
“Up till date, President Mahama has only been able to commission five, with a few months to the end of 2016” he noted.
Responding to this in an interview on Pink FM’s breakfast show, Omanbapa Kasa, the NDC gospel preacher took a stripe on the flagbearer by saying that he lacks locus to account on the projects since he is not a beneficiary.
“72 years old Akuffo Addo, travels to abroad to cure his toothache, his children will not even attend those schools, if President Mahama builds schools or hospitals will Akuffo Addo attend them? He is not a beneficiary…. someone who eats fufu with spoon…. he doesn’t know rural life, why hasn’t he constructed Kyebi, his hometown roads? It even took President Mahama to revive a the only college in his hometown…” He stressed.
