A council member of the opposition New Patriotic Party Dr Amoako Tuffuor has urged his party faithfuls to beat and brutalize foreigners who would try to take part in the ongoing Limited Biometric Voters Registration exercise.
Dr Amoako Tuffuor who was speaking in an interview on Pink Fm’s midday news on Thursday, decried on how the NDC’s had recruited its members to form an NGO called Center for Conflict Resolution who acts as information snippers for the NDC.
He explained their modus operandi as monitoring the presence of NPP macho men at registration centers in the strongholds of the NPP and inform the NDC macho men when they leave, the NDC macho men would then come and attack applicants and intimidate them so that they quit the process and go home unregistered.
Commenting about the intrusion of foreigners he suggested that the NPP’s brutalize those foreigners but should not kill them in order to scare them away.
“Beat them but don’t kill them, they’re trying to steal our right to choose our desired leader” he said.
