ZYLOFON MEDIA BOSS REJECTS MP’s CALL

Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Menzgold Ghana Limited and Zylofon media, has rejected calls on him to vie for a parliamentary seat in Kasoa in the Central Region.

His response comes in a wake of calls on him by a section of youth of Kasoa in the Central Region who have formed a self-financed movement to help get him elected as the Member of Parliament in the area.

The Youth in Kasoa have launched their own self-financed movement to help get him elected as the member of parliament for the area.

Pictures, flags and large car stickers calling of Mr. Mensah to be made the representative of the area in the parliament of Ghana and have popped up in the town.

A chief of youth in Kasoa known as Hassan has already decked his SUV out in his self-made banner of Mr. Mensah with words campaigning for the owner of Zylofon Media to be MP of the area.

Reports say a delegation is being put together by the movement to convince the man popularly known as NAM 1 to contest the next parliamentary elections.

But Nana Appiah Mensah, in a quick response has shot down the campaign, claiming he appreciates the efforts but ‘not enthused’ about a parliamentary status now adding that he is “committed to creating One Million descent jobs in Ghana within 5 years.”

He said, “I appreciate the call but, I am not enthused about a legislative house member status now. I am committed to creating One Million descent jobs in Ghana within 5 years. Let’s keep our gaze on that and that only”
