The management of Sisbros waste management company has reacted to allegations made by some folks within the Kasoa municipal.
Allegations of exorbitant charges of smaller waste bins as against the memorandum of understanding(MOU) were raised by some residents in Kasoa particularly the Walantu area.
It may be recalled that the Municipal Environmental Officer, Mr. Godson Loddo had responded and explained that, the situation was as the result of the company’s inability to provide the required waste bins due to its financial status.
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Awutu Senya East, Mr. Michael Yaw Essuman Mensah however also reacted and maintained that the MHEO’s statement was not acceptable.
However, the management board of Sisbros waste management has also reacted to the allegations raised against them.
They have firstly denied providing waste bins of the sizes that were photographed by some of the residents which were subsequently published by Pinknews.
They have also refuted claims by the municipal environmental officer, Mr. Loddo that their company is a novice in waste management services and is therefore incapacitated enough in terms of capital to provide the required waste bins.
In a statement made available to Pinknews by the management, they contend that the company has been in existence for quite a long time and has effectively provided services to residents within the municipalities they operate which includes the Ga South Municipality.
They have therefore urged the general public to disregard the allegations brought forth against them by a cross-section of the Kasoa residents and any other claims.
