SHIRLEY FRIMPONG-MANSO AND HER HUSBAND OWE ROYAL BANK.

Shirley Frimpong-Manso is a Ghanaian film director, writer and producer. She is the founder and CEO of Sparrow Productions, a film, television and advertising production company.
Shirley won Best Director at the 6th Africa Movie Academy Awards. Some of her movies include: Love or Something like that, A Sting in a Tale, Devil in the Detail, Potomanto, Potato Potahto, The Perfect Picture, Rebecca and others.
The Royal Bank published in newspapers a list of loan defaulters over the week and this list included two very pominent people in the Ghanaian entertainment industry – Shirley Frimpong Manso and her husband, Ken Attoh.
From the information the bank published in addition to their names, it seems the two secured a loan from the bank and have not been able to repay it within the stipulated time.
The bank’s statement read that “This is a notice to the following Directors of Companies who have defaulted in their loan repayment to the Royal Bank Limited. The bank reserves the right to take any appropriate action to recover the debt owed”.
It explains that the action of the bank may mean that the defaulters have been personally contacted by the bank and that has been incapable of producing results.
In view of this, the next step which will be followed by the bank is taking them to court.
