The president of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo will set off on his usual regional tour tomorrow Tuesday 23rd July, 2019. This time around, he is visiting the Central Region and the Western Region.
Information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made this known to the media last Sunday. He said, the president goes on this tour to help him know what is going on in the various regions.
And also to enable him to relate with the natives in the Regions, as well as stakeholders and opinion leaders. He sometimes go on this tour in order to cut sword to kick off projects.
The president’s tour is going to kick off from shama in the western Region. He is going to cut a sword for the commencement of the 2nd face expansion of the factory for a company called Twiford limited.
The president is also going to cut sword for work to begin on the fish landing beach in Axim. Another sword will be cut by him for the project on the prestea roads to start.
He continues his tour to the central region where he meets with the chiefs and the people at a durbar. The president then returns back to Accra on Saturday.
