PRESIDENT NANA AKUFFO-ADDO TO HAVE AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE MEDIA

Nana Akuffo –Addo, president of the Republic of Ghana is set to meet journalist on Wednesday, 17 January,2018 at the Banquet Hall, Flagstaff House.
The president uses this encounter to address some of the chanllenges the country is facing and also answer some questions from selected journalist and media houses as well. This will be the second time the president is meeting the media after taking office as the leader of the nation. The first “Encounter with the media” was on the 18th of July,2017.
He will tell Ghanaians how he has performed in government after a year in office. Issues about fighting corruption, appointment of the special prosecutor which is one of the major promises the president made to Ghanaians in his campaign period, he said “My Government will not shield law breakers”. The one district one factory promise made to Ghanaians, one village, one dam and so many other issues that his government promises to give to Ghanaians when elected into office.
The meeting with the media which saw the presence of not only the president but his vice Mahamudu Bawumia and other ministers of state who will be answering various questions from the media connected to their ministeries and administration.
The program will start 11 am Wednesday morning and will be aired on major radio stations and television stations across the country. The invited media houses and journalist will be giving the opportunity to ask questions concerning issues concerning the people of Ghana and also question about the president’s performance in one year. Questions of what to look forward to in the future and maybe the next plans in the pipeline for the government will also be asked at the program.
Ghanaians will look forward to good news and great plans from the government and improvement in the living standard of the people.
