The Medie church pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pastor Isaac Kofi Duku has urged the youth to clad themselves in the spirit of God by developing a prayer habit.
He was speaking in a sermon at a nine-day youth camp meeting organized by the Amasaman and Pokuase Districts of the church at Adjena in the Asuogyaman district in the Eastern Region.
“We are in a time where the youth has left prayer to be an activity for the aged and unless 31st nights people don’t pray” He said.
The Youth Camp
The youth camp is an annual event organized by various districts of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) to bring together people mostly the youth to pray and study the scripture together.
It is held in the Christmas periods.
This year’s camp saw in attendance young people within various age groups and pastors of the church who ministered to them.
It was filled with activities like marching drill, games, excursion and a hiking which was aimed at strengthened the spirit of resilience in the youth.
