OFFICES AT PARLIAMENT HOUSE ARE SAFE – KATE ADDO

The Communicator for the Parliament of Ghana ,Mrs Kate Addo has confirmed , offices at parliament are safe and can resist any incidental occurance,during an interview with KOJ on Pink fm’s Morning show, Oman ba pa Kasa.

With regards to the Job 600 building  which was reported to be affected by fire,She indicated,the only affected room in the building is where most photocopy and print works are done.

Asked about the description of the incident,Mrs Kate explained the incident happened around 6:30 pm when most worker were ready to end the day.As workers were about to set off, they realised smoke emanating from a room at the top of  the building and had to raise an alarm.

The Fire Service Officials stationed for the parliament approach as to where the smoke graduated from.Within an hour and half,the fire was quenched and according to the Firemen,the only room affected was the room possessing photocopy machines.

Also the other offices as confirmed by the Firemen are safe.

She also clarified the pictures going viral on social  media about the incident looks scary than how it actually look like.
