Obor is a farming community near Abono on the Bosomtwe District in the Ashanti Region. Residents in the community have expressed reservations about the lack of essential amenities in their community.

We lack roads, portable water and people defecate about anyhow, causing another problem for the community, he lamented.
In an interview with Nana Omono Asamoah,he urged the government to deem it necessary to focus on the rapid infrastructural development in the community.
He also stated that, the present leadership of the council has not carried out any developmental projects in the area.
Odikro Asamoah has pointed hands to the district assembly for failing to do their work.
on the other hand,the DCE of the Bosomtwe Asembly, Lawyer Kwadwo Assuming has assured residents of Obor of bringing development to their door steps. This will help improve their living conditions.
The assurance of the DCE was in response to an appeal made by the residents. Following the bad state of the only toilet facility that serves the people.
