I AM HEALTHY NOT HOSPITALIZED- FORMER MD OF BOST

The Former Managing Director, of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST) Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng has discharged rumours which claim he has been hospitalized.

Mr. Obeng Boateng’s reign as BOST Managing Director was terminated by presidency due to one controversy relating to the sale of contaminated fuel to some private organization.

“As part of restructuring of Parastatal companies and agencies, the president has decided to terminate the appointment of Mr. Alfred Obeng as the Managing Director of BOST and to appoint Mr. George Mensah Okley as the New MD,” the sack letter signed by Secretary to the President, Asante Bediatuo said.

There have been media reports suggesting that Mr. Obeng has been hospitalized as a result of shock after his appointment at BOST was terminated.

Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng expressing his concerns about the rumour emphasized that, “my attention has been drawn to various online publications circulating that I have been hospitalized following the recent decision from the Presidency terminating my appointment as the Managing Director of BOST. I wish to state that I am healthy and happily going about my normal activities”.

He further in his statement entreated supporters and well-wishers to treat the rumours of him being hospitalized as false.
