DO NOT FORCE CHURCHES TO PAY TAX – PROPHETESS.

It has become debatable for a while concerning the issue of payment of taxes by churches in the country, this has received numerous calls and attention from the public and religious bodies calling for possible cancellation and it implementation.

Meanwhile, the general overseer for Jesus Prayer Ministry [J.P.M], Prophetess Grace Frimpong Boateng has reiterated its quest that, there is no need for the government to impose tax on the churches.

In an interview with the press today, she bemoaned that, majority of the churches have some social responsibilities they play in the economy, perhaps ,others have also established hospitals and schools in the system which has helped the economy, therefore, calling for total dismissal of the said decision.

She said that, in most cases some of the  churches have taken it upon themselves to pay courtesy call to the orphan homes , through the little they get from the congregation ,whence, it will not be necessary to add tax payment to their obligations, although, some are not paid monthly.

In retaliation to the call to Israel as pilgrimage , she has called on individual pastors willing to embark on the journey to do that individually but should not be the issue of government sponsorship ,hence , urging them to remain decent in their various churches in prayers for she believe God can answer them.
