Former Hearts of Oak interim coach, Yaw Preko has been confirmed as the head coach for Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah following his impressive start to the NFL season. Preko, who left the Hearts of Oak in the aftermath of last season’s Ghana Premier League, initially joined the Nigerian outfit as an assistant trainer three months ago but when the club’s head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi resigned, the position became vacant. And on Thursday, he was confirmed as substantive trainer for the rest of the season after he guided the side to see off MFM FC in a massive 4-0 win in the Nigeria Premier League, one of the biggest wins in the club’s history. He has earlier guided the club to defeat giants Enugu Rangers to win the Nigeria Super Cup.
