Asante Kotoko interim coach Michael Osei expects a tougher second round of the Ghana Premier League which starts on 26 June.
Osei guided the Porcupines from the relegation zone to finish third ahead of rivals Hearts of Oak on the head to head rule.
He believes hard work can only aid his to achieve their target of winning the league at the end of the season.
“We were able to finish the first round very good so we have to work very hard to make sure the second round will be much better,” Osei told Kumasi based Pink FM
“Our aim of winning the league depends on how hard we will work.
I talk to the players a lot that the second round will be tougher than the first round.”
Asante Kotoko are preparing to face Bechem United at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in the MTN FA Cup.
