Director of Melcom groups of company, Godwin Avenorgbo has stated a new project they want to embark. They intend to build washrooms for 10 schools in 3 regions in Ghana.
This is due to the emerging challenges confronting the educational sector.
Again, Mr Avenorgbo mentioned that Melcom groups have selected 10 schools within the three regions. These regions are Greater Accra, Volta, and Eastern Region.
He further explains the intention to provide these schools with washrooms and other sanitary incentives.
According to him a number of school washrooms in the country are in a deplorable condition.
Therefore these problems need massive solution since good sanitation contribute to good health being of school children.
He also disclosed at a short press encounter with the media introducing to the general public their 30th anniversary which is yet to be celebrated today at their head office in Accra.
As part of their cooperate social responsibility they have instituted a raffle draw game whereby everyone stands a chance of winning a brand new car as means of given back to the society.
