MEASURES MUST BE PUT IN PLACE TO CONTROL THE GHANA FOOTBALL-SAM JOHNSON

Former Black Stars midfielder Sam Johnson has suggested that, measures must be put in place to control the Ghana football.

Speaking in an interview on sports check yesterday July 30 2018 with Daniel Oduro as the host the player said, “the clean-up in the Ghana football must be quick and then put some measures to, if someone does wrong and is supposed to be put at the law court the person must be there”.

Sam Johnson also shared his thoughts to the host Daniel Oduro on the current crisis facing the Ghanaian football saying the investigations should have been done some years ago.

“The mess in Ghana football was supposed to have been cleaned up years ago”, he stated.

Speaking on he added that, the clean up being done in the Ghana football as a results of Anas’s Number 12 expose should be quick so that players can earn back their daily livelihood since there has been a halt on playing of leagues in Ghana.

“The cleaning of the local game is good but it has to be quick, this should be the case so that the many footballers who have taken football up as a career will not go hungry. How much do these guys even earn when there is football? We are talking about 400 or 500 cedis and that is not enough, Imagine their situation now that there is not football”, Sam Johnson added.

Sam Johnson is a former Black Stars midfielder. He played for Kayserispor, Gaziantepspor and Fenerbahçe SK in TurkeyAnderlecht in Belgium and Kalamata in Greece.
