MANIFEST REPLIES CRITICS OF HIS PERFORMANCE

After a successful concert dubbed Ghana Meet Naija held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) last Saturday, 27th May 2016, Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter known in real life as Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, aka M.anifest believe patrons enjoyed his performance on the night.

“You can’t force people to enjoy it one way or the other… you need to focus on the energy and people vibing to the music,” he said.

When asked how it was for him he replied: “it was cool mehn… it was good”. What happens to good music is you have to come as you’re, don’t come as somebody else… I, [M.anifest], always come as me, he said.

“I think people appreciate me for that… you have to be willing to accept and understand there’s space for all kinds of Ghanaian music and we have to be confident that people enjoy it in different ways”, he said.

When quizzed again if he was expecting Ghanaians to be on their feet, he answered: “You can’t force people to enjoy it one way or the other… you need to focus on the energy and people vibing to the music, it keeps me going”.

M.anifest on the night introduced new talents on stage for the first time on the prestigious Ghana Meet Naija platform.
