Kwesi Appiah takes to the gym to improve fitness after TWELVE months out

Ghana and Crystal Palace forward Kwesi Appiah is working hard to be fit for the 2016/2017 English Premier League season after taking to the gym to work out.

The striker suffered a cruciate ligament injury in training with the Black Stars back in June 2015 ahead of Ghana’s 7-1 hammering of Mauritius in Accra.

Before that Appiah had won the hearts of many by playing a key role to help Ghana finish second in Africa Cup of Nations staged in Equatorial Guinea six months earlier.

His time on the side lines was initially reported to be 9 months but its taken 12 months to get the forward back on track.

If he is able to prove his fitness he could sneak into Ghana’s team that will try to go one step better in the AFCON to be staged in Gabon next year.

A video recently popped up on twitter showing the Ghanaian breaking sweat all in a bid to return to full fitness.
