KOTOKO RESUME TRAINING ON OCTOBER 12

Players and technical team members of Kotoko will return to Adako Jachie next week Wednesday, October 12, 2016 weeks after going on break. The Porcupines were given some time to rest shortly after the UNA Peace match against Hearts of Oak in Accra on September 21, 2016.

Then, it wasn’t too clear when the team would resume training sessions as the calendar for the 2016/17 season wasn’t out. Although the calendar is still yet to come from the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kotoko players are returning to work for other important reasons.

Communications Manager, Kwaku Ahenkorah told Asantekotokosc.com in an interview earlier this week, that, the fabulous lads are coming back to Adako Jachie to prepare for the Ghana League Clubs Association (Ghalca)’s G-6 tournament.

“The competition starts on November 5” said Ahenkorah. “Once we are participating, it’s important we return to training early so we can be in good shape for the off-season tournament” added the club’s spokesman.

Kotoko won the maiden G-6 competition in Sekondi-Takoradi this year. Expectations are that, the team would come good in the second edition.
