The roofs of the National Theatre came down on Sunday as one of Ghana’s ebullient gospel musicians, SP Kofi Sarpong held a successful concert dubbed SP Kofi Sarpong Live In Concert.
Although the event was to bring together gospel music giants on one platform to entertain Ghanaian gospel music fans, reggae/dancehall artiste, Epixode joined the self-acclaimed King of African Borborbor to perform.
Epixode, known for delivering spectacular performances especially with dancehall, was a delight to watch as he turned things around.
The maiden edition of the event held at the National Theatre, Sunday, also showcased live band performances from seasoned Ghanaian gospel artistes like Nacee, Joyce Blessing, Gifty Osei, Francis Amoh, Cecy Twum, among others.
The concert organized by Media Excel Productions was aimed at promoting SP Kofi Sarpong’s brand as a gospel artiste, as well as raising funds to support the registration of 5,000 children in some deprived areas for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
