About four stores have been razed down by fire at Kasoa on Monday morning.
The fire, according to an eyewitness who spoke to PinkNews was as a result of an apprentice at a motor fitting shop in the area to burn refuse.
“One guy was burning a collection of refuse and the fire spread to the motor fitting shop then to the others” He narrated.
But for the intervention of some citizens nearby and the swift response of the Kasoa fire service personnel, the fire could have spread to other areas destroying valuables.
