A customer from Taiwan first reported the problems with her new iPhone. Thus, the woman had her iPhone 8 Plus loaded with an officially Apple-supplied charging cable, as the case deformed and broke. This is indicated by the tech-website “macrumors.com”. The smartphone had been sent to Apple’s error analysis.
A consumer from Japan also released pictures from a brand new iPhone 8 Plus on Twitter. Apparently, the damage arose during transport. The pressure in the inside of the mobile phone was to big as well. The display jumped out of the frame.
Apple has already spoke out about the problems and wants to investigate the incidents as a spokeswoman from “macrumors.com” said.
It is still impossible to say whether the battery problem is a large production error. The worldwide sale of the iPhone 8 Plus had already started on September 22nd. Interesting is that Apple gets the batteries partly from the Chinese manufacturer ATL, which had also produced the defective batteries for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 had.
