The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for National Association of School of Hygiene Students Yaw Oduro has expressed that, they decided on going on strike because their petition were overlooked and disregarded by the Ministry of Health.

Later yesterday, he said he was called to office by Honorable Joseph Kofi Adda that the Minister for Health has made it known that they will attend to the issue to bring smiles to their faces.

He added that, what brought the delay in the payment of the allowance was they were removed from the Ministry of Health to Ministry of Sanitation.

This delay has also made 90% students not approved of their delay but was calmed down by the Minister of Health and still awaits the reply from the Minister.

He also added that, they are still looking up to the Ministry of Health to do something fast about it, if not they are going to demonstrate fiercefully .
