WOMEN ESCAPE THE HORROR OF SEX TRAFFICKING
The other name for sex trafficking is prostitution. It is an illegal practice. Sex trafficking is human trafficking for the purpose of sexual use, including sexual slavery.
The trafficker forces the victim in one of a variety of ways of sexual slavery. The trafficker(s) then uses them to give sexual services to customers.
People do this for money or an item. Individuals practice this act due to several reasons.
This could be due to poverty, lack of parental control or peer pressure. It could also be a means of living for some individuals or due to lack of education.
Further, sex trafficking could be based on consent or forced on individuals. It is also illegal to force individuals into this practice.
In some instances, they lie about employment opportunities outside the country only for victims to get sold into sex slavery. Also people promise them huge sums of money and other good things.
In the most recent incident North Korean women who make mistakes end up being sold into the illegal sex trade in China. CNN’s Paula Hancocks speaks with a South Korean pastor whose organization helps free victims and get them to safety.
In summary sexual slavery is illegal and very bad.
