Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has applauded Croatia’s head coach Zlatko Dalic for his team’s remarkable performance at this year’s World Cup in Russia.
With Zlatko Dalic in charge, Croatia took football fans around the world by surprise after topping two-time champions Argentina in group D.
Dalic guided his side to cruise pass Denmark, Russia and England in the Round of 16, quarter finals and semi-finals respectively to book a place with France in the final.
The Croatians faced a very brilliant and well organised French side as they suffered a 4-2 defeat in Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium yesterday (June 15, 2018).
Despite their defeat to France, the heroes of Croatia captured the hearts of many with their physical and tactical displays over their opponents.
Black Stars all-time top scorer, Baby Jet Asamoah Gyan who once worked with the 51-year-old tactician at United Arab Emirates side Al Ain has been praising his former boss via social media.
“Congratulations coach @DalicZlatko for taking your country #Croatia to the #WorldCupFinal 2nd place. I have always believed you would be a great coach one day. I’m happy to have worked with a great person like you.” he posted on his official twitter page.
