Ghana Premier League to go on a three-week break after first round

The Ghana Premier League will take a three-week break after this weekend’s round of 15 matches to half the season, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The league was initially scheduled to continue after the first round but the Premier League Board has revised their plans.

Per the new schedule, the second round will start on 26 June and the season will end on 18 September.

The flamboyant GPL has gathered plaudits from many spectators and football lovers all over the country.

Clubs will therefore get the opportunity to prepare very well for the second round with the new players they are registering.
