Ghana FA Boss hosts Muslims in football to special Ramadan ‘Iftar’ Feast

The President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi held Muslims in the football fraternity to a special Ramadan ‘Iftar’ Feast At Marwako in Accra.

The event which was attended by major stakeholders in the industry including administrators and journalists saw prominent people like Alhaji Karim Grusah of King Faisal, President of Dreams FC Jiji Mohammed, Founder of Mighty Jets Abu Sondonko and President of New Edubiase United Abdul Salam Yakubu.

Others included were Hearts of Oak Board Member Alhaji Brimah Akanbi, Management member of New Edubiase Joe Abu Salam, Management member of Dreams FC Aminu Shardow and other important Muslim sports journalists in the country.

Together with the gathering and led by Imam Abass Abdul Karim, host of Ramadan Series on Metro TV, Kwesi Nyantakyi offered the Maghrib prayers with them after breaking their fast.

In a short speech, Kwesi Nyantakyi thanked all those who honored the invitation and affirmed his commitment to Islam and counseled the gathering to be steadfast in their religious activities.

“I am greatly honoured to have had all of you here. It is always good to extend a positive call to your Muslim brother in the month of Ramadan.

“We are in the last ten days of Ramadan and we all know the benefits therein. I am therefore extending this feat to you all for Allah to increase our blessing and call for forgiveness from Allah in all our endeavours,” Kwesi Nyantakyi noted.
