Stephen Ntim, the aspiring chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has accused Freddy Blay of buying vote for the upcoming party elections on Saturday, 7th July 2018.
Freddy Blay, a fellow contestant who is also aspiring for the chairmanship of the NPP has bought about 275 buses for the New Patriotic Party.
For this benevolence act exhibited by Freddy Blay, his competitor, Stephen Ntim during a press conference accused him of buying votes
He said “instead of me organizing, superficial and engineered endorsement and organizing some people together and giving them money to endorse me, I am waiting for the delegate because the delegate is going to endorse me for the Battle is still the Lord’s”. He said he has no intention of using propaganda to win election and this has been his habit because none of his campaign has included much swing attached resources to any of his contestants.
Stephen Ntim mentioned some of his past contestants in 2001 who did not use resources in their campaign and they are; Mark Manu, Jake Obetsebi Lamptey of blessed memory and Paul Afoko.
Mr. Ntim disclosed that, even after his loss in the 2014 elections, he was content because his party succeeded in electing their National Officers to steer the affairs without any violence. In his speech, he said “so Ntim has lost again” He urged that propaganda should be out in this upcoming election.
The National Chairman Aspirants, Stephen Ntim has cautioned the NPP contestants that if they claim to dedicate and sacrifice their lives for the improvement of the country, they should be fair in their political dealings. They should not use an unacceptable way to manoeuver into winning the upcoming election on Saturday, 7th July 2018.
Ntim has aspired for this position for about four times now and he is hoping to win for the election on Saturday.
