THE BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION ENDS TODAY

The Basic Education Certificate Examination organized by the West Africa Examination Council for 509,737 candidates from 16058 basic schools in Ghana ends today.

A section of candidates at Amanfrom Senior High school are quite excited about the exercise since it is to aid them move to the next level of academia and also to permit them have a fair share of the free Senior High School Education program.

To others their excitement is just for the fact that their great toil in junior high school comes to an end today and they are optimistic that their hard work will never be in vain.

In an interview with some students of Top Town International School, they were self-assured that they will pass since they adequately prepared for the examination. Mr. Benjamin Boampong, who is a subject teacher of the school made it known during an interview that their numerous preparations and the zeal of the candidates towards the exams assure him of a great success.

Speaking to some official and invigilators of the center, they disclosed that the exercise has been a peaceful one since there hasn’t been any act of malpractice till date.

Also, the Ghana Education Service has assured candidates that despite the delay in the selection of schools they will be allowed to select their preferred Senior High School with no difficulty.
