DRIVER ESCAPES DEATH AFTER ACCIDENT ON THE N1 HIGHWAY

A driver of a Kia Rio saloon car narrowly escaped death after involving in an accident on the N1 highway at Kasoa-Ngleshie Amanfrom.

According to an eyewitness who spoke to Pinknews, the driver’s vehicle was smashed by the bucket of a tipper truck with the registration number GT 2752-17 after it collided the rear-end of an articulated truck with the registration number GT 8565-12.

“The driver of the articulated truck had slowed down for pedestrians to cross, the tipper truck’s driver who was however speeding tried to maneuver by climbing the kerb but could not and therefore collided with the rear end of the articulated truck, it’s bucket felt on the saloon car pouring the sand on it, the driver had therefore manged to move out of the vehicle” the eyewitness narrated.

No injury or death was recorded but the situation has caused a very huge vehicular traffic on that part of the N1 highway.
