DEATH OF MAJOR MAHAMA:IT WAS A PLANNED THING,REV. BOSOMTWE-AYENSU.

The Superintended Minister of Dzorwulu Diocese of the Methodist Church of Ghana, Rt.Rev. Stephen Bosomtwe-Ayensu has described the lynching to death of Capt. Major Adams Mahama as an intentional act.

The Captain who was given the tittle of a Major by the President during his one week celebration at Burma Camp in Accra was lynched by some youth of Denkyira-Obuasi when he was alleged to be a ‘thief’.

Major Maxwell Mahama was the leader to the detachment in the area who was to help in the fight against galamseyers in the area before being lynched by the youth of the area in whose hands he had fallen mercy.

The entire country was thrown in to a state of shock when the news broke up on Monday,29th May.This kept most Ghanaians wondering how such inhumane incident can be done to a security person who has sworn to serve and protect his people.

Speaking on Pink FM’s Omanbapa Kasa ,Rt. Rev. Bosomtwe-Ayensu has condemned the act and stated that “The people of Denkyira-Obuasi had done this out of hatred”

“The Major’s gruesome death was a planned thing by the people.They had conspire to do that before attacking him on the fateful Monday to lynch him to death”,he reacted
