Asempa FM’s late afternoon political programme ‘Eko Sii Sen’ has been adjudged Chartered Institue of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Radio Programme of the Year 2018.
The award — to The Multimedia Group subsidiary — is in recognition of its practice of following socio-political issues that would have otherwise died a premature death to their logical conclusion.
Eko Sii Sen [How did it end], has been described by its ardent listeners as the reference point for current affairs and political news in Ghana.
The host of the show, Philip Osei Bonsu and the production team were present to receive the award.
The show airs on Asempa 94.7 FM from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm every weekday.
Also winning at the event was Prof. Abednego O. F. Amartey who walked away as the Marketing Man of the year.
Rev. Mrs. Elizabeth Wyns-Dogbe was adjudged the Marketing Woman of the year.
