The chiefs of Effutu Winneba, Thursday, apologised to Nana Addo, flag bearer of the new patriotic party regarding the use of “SIMPA PAYIN “

According to Neeyi Gyete Gyekuma II, Adontehene of Effutu, it got to the attention of Nananom that the alleged audio upon which they made their earlier demands is of dubious quality and same cannot be verified. Indeed upon further scrutiny they have realized that Nana Akufo-Addo never said anything derogatory about the people of Winneba.20161124_103038

Speaking to Pinkfmonlinegh.com, Nananom of Effutu traditional area said they ever regret their action and therefore rendered unqualified apology to Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP as a whole as well as their hard working Member of Parliament, Hon Alexander kwamena Afenyo Markin for any political harm their actions might have caused them. Adontehene of Effutu Neeyi Gyete Gyankuma II took the opportunity offered them by Pink FM to urge individuals and government officials to stop such conduct of feeding Nananom with false information aimed at earning them political advantage. “We plead one’s again to Nana Addo to find a place in his heart to forgive the good people of winneba for such comments which are hereby retracted in its entirety. We wish Nana Addo and the NPP the best of luck in the upcoming elections and reiterate the fact that the people of winneba have confidence in him as a true patriot, peace loving and visionary leader who can bring change to the masses”, he noted.
