CHIEF OF STAFF SUSPENDS PRESIDENTIAL STAFFER, DR. LOUISE CAROL

The chief of Staff, Honourable Akosua Frema Osei Opare has suspended the policy and communication Analyst, Dr. Louise Carol Serwaa Donko for a period of thirty days.

The statement was released yesterday, 12th June, 2018 from the Office of the President.

Dr. Louise Corol’s suspension is based on a comment she authored against the NPP footsoldiers.

Ms. Donkor, who is the number 114 on the list of 998, is, in addition to her presidential staffer role, a leading member of controversial girls group PepperDem.

She wrote in response to a post about not dealing with foot soldiers as a principle: “You shouldn’t”, she encouraged her friend who posted it. “You can’t reason with them (foot soldiers).” She said.

“It’s like tribalist”, she added.

According to the Chief of Staff, “these comments sought to disparage a section of the Ghanaian society, a conduct which is unacceptable to this office”.

Dr. Louise Carol serwaa later apologized for her actions. She also noted her loyalty to the party among some other triviality.

Yet, the Hon. Akosua Frema Osei Opare saw it necessary to suspend her.

The presidential staffer is supposed to commence her suspension from today, 13th June, 2018, stated in the memo, which was written by the Mr. Eugene Owusu, special Advisor to the President.

“Further, she is required to render, in writing, an unconditional apology and comment to good behavior”, it stated.
