It’s okay,I think those sharing the images of the late Captain should cease fire.We are all hypocrites,how many times haven’t we heard about mob action? What was our response?If we had condemned earlier attacks of that sort,we wouldn’t have come this far.Oh what a country!!!
And if the story was the opposite,yes I mean if Captain Maxwell Mahama had shot and killed about five of the attackers in the name of self defense,I wonder how I and my media friend would have decorated the story with some headlines from various dailies that reads:
Daily Graphic:Insane Soldier Kills 3
Ghanaian Times:Cruel Massacre,Army Official Kills Innocent Citizens.
Daily Guide:Impatient Wicked Soldier Kills Five and getting to know he was related to the former President Mahama I am convinced the Daily Statesman would have captioned it boldly;Mahama’s Soldier Wickedly Kills Citizen and our commentators too would have described the military in words I can’t even type.
Look let us all wake up and learn lessons out of this ,let us easily criticize and stop reading political meanings into everything and we should all arise and we should all arise and educate ourselves against such acts.
