BRIGHTON FC SWEEPS JOEL VELTMAN OFF THE TRANSFER MARKET.

English Premier League side Brighton &Hove Abion has acquired the signature of Ajax right back Joel Veltman.

The move becomes the second summer transfer by the Albions after signing Liverpool player Adam Lallana.

A deal which comes with an undisclosed terms will see the former Ajax right back at the Falmer stadium for the next three football seasons.

The 28 year old Dutch international made more than 200 appearances.

Netting 10 goals and winning three Eredivise titles for the Dutch giants.

Veltman made his first appearance for the Dutch club in 2012 after going through the academy.

Since then became a regular team player for Ajax both in the champions League and the Eredivise.

Manager for the Albions,Graham Potter said “we are delighted to welcome Joel Veltman to the club”.

He says Joel is an excellent player having much experience in the champions League and the Eredivise during his days in Ajax.”

The Dutch international is expected to bring on board some of this experience to put Brighton on a better side.

The seagulls are making efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.

As they come through with the signature of players from the transfer market.
