WHAT “BLACK PANTHER” WANTS TO TELL MR TRUMP

A movie you can´t miss: Marvel´s “Black Panther”!

All around the world, people are discussing the film´s meaning, importance and quality. They do agree in one point; it´s brilliant. “Black Panther” is thrilling, has an exciting storyline and is combined with outward acting performance from a talented cast. Oscar´s winner Lupita Nyong´o is starring next to Michael B. Jordan and other celebrities. The movie takes place in Wakanda, a fictional high-technological kingdom hidden in Africa, and deals with the need of globalization. The acceptance of refugees by empowered nations.

Because of the fact, that black superheroes are rare in the comic scene, it makes a movie with such great number of black actors even more important. It is described as the watershed in U.S film industry, likely to have a great impact on modern politics as well.

In times of white nationalism, especially in the U.S, “Black Panther” is praised as a powerful opposition to that.

After Tump was referring to African nations as “shithole countries”, “Black Panther” lifts the self-esteem of African – American, who were insulted by their own president. Moreover, young women get encouraged to start believing in their skills, in themselves!

Marvel movies are known for their post-credit scenes and “Black Panther” is no exception. In one of them T´Challa, the king of Wakanda, stands in front of the Senate of the United Nations and delivers a speech about opening his kingdom´s borders to spread their wealth and technologies all over the world for further development.

“We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe” – T´Challa declares. It´s a not-so-subtle message to president Trump. Regarding him wanting to build a wall, close the borders and exclude people depending on their skin colour, nationality and religion, it makes him one of the foolish.
