Atletico Madrid’s entire squad travel to Germany

The entire Atletico Madrid squad have flown to Germany ahead of their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.

The Rojiblanco expedition led by chief executive Miguel Angel Gil and president Enrique Cerezo includes all 22 first-team players and Bernabe Barragan as third-choice goalkeeper.

Many relatives, including Diego Simeone’s parents, as well as the coaching staff, were also on board the Francisca Acera Airbus A330-300 chartered by Air Europa, which will land at about 1pm on Monday.

The team are due to train in the Allianz Arena on Monday afternoon to prepare for Tuesday night’s game.

The players who are travelling to Munich are:

Goalkeepers: Oblak, Moyá and Bernabé.
Defenders: Filipe Luis, Savic, Gámez, Lucas, Giménez, Godín and Juanfran.
Midfielders: Koke, Kranevitter, Óliver, Augusto, Gabi, Saúl, Carrasco, Thomas and Tiago.
Forwards: Griezmann, Fernando Torres, Correa, and Vietto.
